Josh Wood

Josh initially joined the DRRU in September 2022 as an Honorary Research Assistant during the placement year of his Psychology BSc at the University of Bath. Across the placement year, he worked on the Prosocial Project, which furthered his interest in developmental psychology, the mechanisms underlying childhood psychopathology and the application of such research to children, their families and educators. Since graduating in July 2024, Josh has returned to the DRRU to continue working on the Prosocial Project, where he hopes to further his understanding of social relationships in young people with conduct problems as well as furthering his coding abilities with R which he intends to use to communicate research findings with families and schools.
